There are wedding days that feel beautiful from beginning to end—and then there are wedding days that feel like they were made for storytelling. Sophia & Cooper’s September 6, 2026 wedding at Four Winds Farm in Fitchburg, Wisconsin was exactly that.

From getting ready and those anticipation-filled moments before the ceremony to celebrating surrounded by the people who mean the most, their wedding day was filled with the kind of genuine moments that make wedding photography so much more than simply taking pictures.

As their Wisconsin wedding photographer, I was there to document the big moments, the little moments, and all the in-between moments that Sophia and Cooper will want to remember for years to come.

And having everything take place at Four Winds Farm made the entire day feel beautifully connected.

One of the things I love about weddings at a venue like Four Winds Farm is being able to tell the entire story without constantly moving from one location to another.

Sophia & Cooper celebrated their wedding day right at Four Winds Farm in Fitchburg, allowing their wedding photographs to capture the atmosphere of the property, their celebration, and the people who surrounded them throughout the day.

The result?

A wedding gallery that feels cohesive, natural, and completely them.

From portraits to candid moments, every part of the day became part of their story.

The Details That Made It Their Day

Wedding details might seem like small things, but they are often the pieces that bring the entire wedding story together.

Sophia’s bridal look was completed with a gown from The Wedding Shoppe in St. Paul, Minnesota, while her hair was styled by Kirsten Winter.

Cooper wore a suit from Brooks Brothers, while the groomsmen were outfitted through Men’s Warehouse.

The floral designs from Felly's Flowers added another beautiful layer to the day, complementing the wedding setting and creating gorgeous details to photograph throughout the celebration.

And, of course, no wedding celebration is complete without something sweet. Sophia & Cooper’s wedding cake and desserts came from Hy-Vee.

From “I Do” to the Dance Floor

Once the formalities were over, it was time to celebrate!

Upstairs Downstairs Catering helped keep everyone fueled for the festivities, while Midwest Sound DJ Entertainment brought the music and energy to the reception.

There is something so special about watching a wedding reception unfold. The formal portraits are important, the ceremony is incredibly meaningful, and the details deserve to be remembered—but the reception is where personalities really start to shine.

The laughter.

The hugs.

The happy tears.

The dance floor.

The people who traveled to celebrate.

Those are the photographs that often become some of the most treasured images in a wedding gallery.

As a Wisconsin wedding photographer, one of my favorite parts of my job is getting to step into a couple’s story for one incredibly important day.

I’m not just looking for the perfectly posed photograph.

I’m watching for the moment Cooper looks at Sophia when she isn't paying attention.

The way a parent reacts during the ceremony.

The laughter between friends.
