Getting Ready with the Girls

Before the celebration began, Jill spent time getting ready surrounded by the women closest to her. Her bridal beauty came together with Brevity - Bridal by Studio R, creating an elegant, polished look that was perfect for her wedding day.

And then came the dress.

Jill wore a stunning gown from Erika's Bridal Couture, bringing together the entire bridal look in the most beautiful way. From the details of her dress to the final touches of hair and makeup, photographing these quiet getting-ready moments is one of my favorite parts of a wedding day.

3 Guys and a Grill kept everyone fueled throughout the reception, while Will Nye the DJ Guy brought the music and kept the party moving.

There is something so fun about photographing wedding receptions where everyone has fully settled into the celebration. The timeline is winding down, shoes may be coming off, people are laughing harder, and the dance floor becomes the place where everyone lets loose.

And honestly? Those are some of my favorite photographs to capture.
