Some photo sessions are about more than one milestone—they're about celebrating an entire season of life.

This summer, I had the joy of photographing twin seniors at St. John's Northwestern Academy in Delafield, Wisconsin, alongside the people who have been cheering them on every step of the way: their parents and the newest (and fluffiest!) member of the family, Murph.

What made this session even more special is that this isn't just any family to me—we've been family friends for years. Watching these two grow into confident, kind, accomplished young adults has been such a privilege, and documenting this chapter of their lives felt incredibly meaningful.

Two Seniors. One Incredible Story.

Being a twin means sharing a lot of life's biggest moments, but these two have always been wonderfully themselves.

As we explored the beautiful campus of St. John's Northwestern Academy, we made sure each senior had time in front of the camera to let their own personality shine. From timeless individual portraits to fun photos together, the session celebrated both their unique identities and the special bond they've shared since day one.

Senior year is full of exciting possibilities, and it was such an honor to capture this moment before they each begin writing the next chapter of their story.

A Family Session to Remember

Of course, we couldn't let such a huge milestone pass without including the whole family.

Mom and Dad joined in for portraits that celebrated not only their twins' senior year but also the journey that brought them here. There were plenty of smiles, a few laughs, and the kind of genuine moments that only happen when a family simply enjoys being together.

And then there was Murph.

Like most puppies, Murph had his own ideas about how the session should go—but that's exactly what made it so much fun! His playful personality added laughter, spontaneity, and a few unforgettable moments that perfectly reflected this family's joyful spirit.
